Ammonites or Ammonoidea were carnivorous, squid-like creatures that lived inside coil-shaped shells.  They first appeared in the Devonian period and became extinct with the dinosaurs 65 million years ago. This work is rendered in 16 gauge plasma cut steel and features a unique rusted finish.
